The Mansfield University Student Services Fair was held on February 13, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in Alumni 307.

The fair gave students an opportunity to learn about different services and organizations available for them to use. In total, 22 participants representing different organizations attended. Included were ROTC, the Women’s Center, Trio, the Learning Center, Student Activities, Drug and Alcohol Education, the Pride Center, Greek Life, KFC, the Counseling Center and more.

Entering Alumni Hall, one could immediately hear the music from the booth for WNTE, the campus radio station. Next to the entrance of Alumni was a stand for a raffle for students to sign up to win various prizes like a $100 Mountie Den Gift Card, $100 Amazon Gift Card and an MU stadium blanket. To enter, students were encouraged to write a reason why they #loveMU. As the fair was held the day before Valentine's Day, the tables offered heart-shaped candies and other Valentine’s themed items. Sodexo, Mansfield University’s food services provider, provided a hot chocolate bar, drinks, and cookies.

Many organizations had stands that featured games for students to play to win prizes. The Financial Aid office had students play a matching game in order to win pencils, paper airplane, or candy. The Career Center had students spin a wheel that landed on a career-related term. Career Peer Mentors explained the term and then let the students choose from two types of candy.

Student Services Fairs are held once every semester. In the Fall, it is typically held in South Hall Mall. Students are encouraged to attend to learn about different services and organizations on campus.
