View from a Freshman

Kaliegh Hamm is a freshman at Mansfield University and is from Wilkes-Barre, PA. She is currently majoring in psychology with a concentration in forensic psychology. To her, being online is “a necessary evil.” She doesn’t like it, but she knows that it’s to keep the campus, facility and students safe and healthy during this pandemic. She decided to live on campus this semester and she doesn’t regret it. She’s taking five classes right now and is also a guard in the marching band. Despite the adjustment to being in a smaller area, she enjoys being on campus. She also feels like in a way, the online classes are easier because she doesn’t have to run around campus trying to figure out where her classes are. She also feels like it’s harder to get involved with everything being online, especially since she is a social person. She’s glad she got to be on campus this semester.
