Last meeting’s (2/4/20) minutes were tabled due to edits needed.
Vice President Tony: Spring Fling concert artist should be confirmed soon.
Treasurer Carl: Organization annual budget requests are due midnight of March 24.
PR Director Katelyn: elections for SGA’s executive board will be held in April.
SGA Balance: $138,252.84
COF Balance: $308,030.17
The Academic Affairs Committee Representative reported that the Education Department will be adding an Earth and Space Education program.
There will be a new FYS class named "Magic and Muggles Studies," taught by Holly Jackson. The First Year Experience Committee Representative reported that there has been a proposal to have all students in FYS classes to read one book that offers advice on how to adjust to college.
Approved a financial request from Issa Girls Thing to host a speaker and a group of entertainers for the Celebration of Blackness event. A request from Men for Progress to cover Sodexo catering fees for the same event was tabled.
Senator Jonah Brandt: the formerly known as “Valentine’s Day Massacre” concert will be renamed “March Madness” and take place on March 27.
Faculty Representative Dr. Todd Ranney: will be reinstating his free voice lessons every Wednesday at 5 p.m. in Butler Music Center.
