President Lee: The Spring Fling Concert artist, Young the Giant, was announced.


Vice President Tony: All other PASSHE schools charge students for Spring Fling Concerts, and to direct all complaints about the artist to himself or Lee before posting negative remarks on social media.


Parliamentarian Zhamya: Will present on the bylaws the week after Spring Break.


SGA Fund Balance: $133,305.84

COF Fund Balance: $287,809.34


The Administrative Affairs and Elections Representative reported that the old residence halls will be demolished much later than the April date that was first announced. There have been no bidders yet, so it will take months before the contract is settled and the actual demolition will take place.


The College Community Services, Inc. (CCSI) Representative reported that there is talk about introducing a new system where students may purchase textbooks online. If approved, the system will most likely be running by the start of the fall semester.


SGA approved a request to allocate funds towards marketing for the Spring Fling Concert.


The body also approved a request to allocate funds toward Mike Birbiglia’s Stand Up and Vote College Tour taking place on April 9, 2020 in Straughn Auditorium.


The Committee on Finance changed its policy to define the difference between spirit giveaway items, prizes, and gifts. The changes were approved during its weekly meeting.
