Treasurer Carl: Presented on SGA’s fiscal history and the Committee on Finance’s total expenses.
Parliamentarian Zhamya: More SGA members must be on the Administrative Committee before making changes to the bylaws.
SGA Fund Balance: $138,325.84
COF Fund Balance: $304,738.69
The General Education Subcommittee Representative reported that the committee is currently reviewing the assessment of Student Learning Objectives in general education classes.
The Academic Planning Committee reported that the committee is currently working on setting up Career Pathways, a set of recommended classes that students could take to prepare for certain careers or graduate school programs.
SGA approved the minutes for its February 4 meeting.
The body approved a request from the Snow Sports Club for a ski trip to Vermont for 40 students and a request by Men for Progress to cater a banquet event.
Faculty Advisor Dusty Zeyn: There are many great programs taking place in honor of Black History Month.
Faculty Representative Dr. Ranney: Took nine students to the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) Artist Awards Competition and six of them placed.
